Why a Mid-Year Audit Matters
The businesses that see consistent social media growth are the ones that review and adjust every 90 days. June is the perfect checkpoint. You have six months of data, and you have six months left to course-correct.
What to Review
Content performance: Which posts got the most reach, engagement, and profile visits? What do they have in common? Do more of that.
Follower growth trajectory: Are you gaining followers at a rate consistent with your goals? If not, is the problem reach (not enough new people seeing your content) or conversion (people see it but do not follow)?
Website traffic from social: Check Google Analytics. Is social media sending meaningful traffic to your site? Which posts drove clicks?
Inquiry source data: Review the last 6 months of new client inquiries. How many found you through social media? Is that number growing?
Posting consistency: Pull up your actual posting history. Were you consistent, or did you fall off in certain months? Identify the weeks you went quiet and what caused it.
What to Adjust
If reach is down, introduce more Reels and shift posting times to peak engagement windows.
If engagement is flat, add more conversation-starting content and increase your responsiveness to comments.
If website clicks are low, add stronger calls-to-action and more direct links in captions.
